When Culture and Environment are working together, they become symbiotic in maintaining the Earth and all life upon it.

INTRODUCTION

Culture - (meaning) the ideas, customs, and social behaviour of a particular people or society.
Environment - (meaning) the natural world, as a whole or a particular geographical area, especially as affected by human activity.

The needs, beliefs and actions of a group of people define them as a Culture. The Culture of a group of people define how that group of people see and interact with the environment around them. This means that Culture and Environment are intrinsically linked and that Culture has shaped much of the world we see around us today. Our Cultures and the choices we make as part of them, have big consequences on how humanity affects the Environment, getting this right is our responsibility.
